It has come off alot. I started around 300 in February and now Im around 230.

Im not scared of anybody. I didnt have a problem fightin the super heavies, **** in street fights I never get a choice. But I do realize that in amateur boxing its all about scoring points with the white part of the glove which would be pretty hard to do with a guy I cant reach and hes a foot taller and alot longer arms. Gettin to 205 will give me the best chance to win and from where IM at now gettin to 205 will be easy.

Cardio class is the key.We have one at my boxing gym for an hour, and we have ppl on the boards at what weight they started at and where they're at now. Some ppl have dropped 30lbs in 2 months. Amazing ****.I would suggest buying a cardio video also. Im thinking of getting one for myself also.

Good luck bro, although I'd be a little worried because of what you've said about your weight and also your mobility in some of your older videos. Yes in the Super Heavyweight Division we generally have slower hands and feet, but I think a guy who's genetically meant to be around 240 pounds will have better mobility than someone who's carrying excessive weight at 240.

I'm not hating on you bro, but remember when you box you're putting yourself in harms way, so you need to be at your best and at the weight which is most natural for your frame and bone structure. From what I've seen when I attended amateur bouts there are guys who have monster left hooks, and massive rights hands but they were beaten by guys with good mobility who could step in and throw 1-2 and step out again quickly.

Make sure you do your research as well bro, we all know about your spars and stuff which is good experience for you, but find some Super Heavyweight Amateur videos and analyse them or try and attend an event to see what kind of standard you'll be up against.

Anyways good luck bro, if you feel ready and the coach feels your ready, rumble young man rumble!

Are the divisions changing because currently 205 is still Super Heavy.

            Super Heavyweight = +201 lb (91kg)

I know there was talk at one stage of removing the Super Heavyweight Division from the olympics.

don't rush it man if your confident you can fight in january then by all means fight but if i was you i wouldn't focus on/or beat youself up about your weight and missing the other fight....... look at it this way youve lost weight and your still loseing so just carry on the way your going and you WILL 100% lose the rest of the weight its just a qeustion of time...... anyway make sure your enjoying wot your doing i know this is a bit hard when you feel like your lungs are burning but i know that after i finish training i feel proper good with myself

the gym owner that is settin up the fights told me 205. I thought 201 was the cutoff but I dont really know anything about AMATEUR boxing. Oh well, Ill just lose those extra 4 too I guess.

Its handy to school yourself about amateur boxing bro since that's the level you're competing at. Definatly go see some bouts if you can too. I discovered that even in Amateurs there's quite a bit of politics between clubs when it comes to match ups.

                  Good Luck
