    yes but it doesnt matter how heavy it is, its how much effort you put in punching it.

      True but i think people feel more inclined to put in more effort when the bag moves less e.g. with a heavier bag.

      I couldnt hit my 50 pound bag at home the way i hit the 100 and whatever pound bags in my gym because i have to work harder to get the same feedback out of it.

        exactly,like I was saying in another post its a mental thing. You want some results(as in budging) when you hit the bag.
