Soreness of muscle just means the Ph of blood became too low(too acidic) and that creates soreness.
The stuff you learn from T-Nation.

Speed you misunderstood what I said. Too much protein isn't bad but you know that consuming alot of it means that some will go to waste. My point is if you take in 90g of protein do you really think your absorbing it? But i don't care, its your money and your body, do what you want.

K, well I only skimmed the previous responses...
But yes, too much protein isn't good for you. You break down protein like everything else, sugar, fat, whatever. It's a little complicated, but the break down produces by-products that aren't too good, at least at high levels. First off all, it will weaken bones. Also, metabolism of protein isn't easy. It strains both the kidney and liver.
Now you're always breaking down protein... I am right now... But when you take in MUCH more than you need, you'll use MUCH more of it for energy, which isn't a good thing. Simple as that.
As for how much you should eat, there is no rule. No this many grams for this many pounds BS. You honestly just have to figure it out. Luckily enough, I don't need a trainer/nutrition expert for it, since I know it all pretty well, and tailor my diet for what it is I do. That's the only real way to do that.
That being said, I probably don't get it PERFECT, if it is off, I'd say I probably eat MORE than I should, but only a little bit more. Eating 200g of protein a day though for example is probably not a good idea, except in special cases.
