    20 Superfoods

    i jus came across some interesting info from dr. john berardi, thought i'd share. these are the best foods to eat for optimal health and condition according to the famous doc, who is currently under 5% body fat...

    Lean Red Meat
    Salmon
    Omega 3 eggs
    Lowfat yogurt
    Protein
    Spinach
    Tomatoes
    All veggies
    Mixed berries
    Oranges
    Beans
    Quinoa ??
    Whole oats
    Mixed nuts
    Avocado
    Olive Oil
    Fish Oil
    Flax Seeds
    Green tea
    Liquid exercise drinks

    he recommends these foods for all athletes to maintain optimal health and energy levels. i eat most of these foods already, but im gonna try and add more into my meals...

    Thanks for the list. Quinoa is great. Its a grain, similar to couscous and pilaf.

            thanks for that list! I could see myself disciplined on all those items. Didn't see any milk products, with the exception of lowfat yogurt, as I'm lactose intolerant. Yo, Speed, If you find out how many servings per day, do keep us posted!

                  That's a good list

                  Pretty much covers the bases.

                  I would add: Plenty of purified water and mineral supplements.

                  Overall, it's a good list. And if you can buy them organic, so much the better.

                    Quinoa ??
                    Usually avalible in pasta form at high end food stores tastes lots better than whole wheat pasta can be used in the same way as white flour in most receipes
