You are looking at the fact that I can do different things. Lookie here, I am a man. Men can change. I don't hear all this negativity. I need to hear advice on CHANGE to make to beat this guy, even if you still think I will lose there should be advice out there for me to do better, yeah?

That's what I want to hear.

So that's you in another fight? Frankly, I don't see much difference, except for the guy fighting you.

If you actually READ what was said to you, it was advice. Advice that you probably won't be able to make the kind of changes you need to beat this guy in an immediate rematch, since he's got too many advantages right now. Get a few more fights (or 10 rather) under your belt, and then have another go at him.
The changes you need to make are not the kind you can make overnight. It'll take a long ass time for you to improve enough to beat this guy. Why? Because he's just a little better than you in all departments. He's got you beat on the outside, on the inside, going into clinches, coming out of clinches, heck even punch output (which is the only real improvement you can realistically make if you're fighting him again soon).

What you WANT to hear is not always what you NEED to hear. Remember that.

By the way, when is the rematch? Looking forward to seeing the video.

That was a good match, both of you guys are very skilled. He seems faster then you and has more polish. He is more free swinging and wild but he does it with skill and pizazz (if that's a word). Work on your jab. You got to get that thing like a piston then you can work on him inside.

Overall, all you gotta do is get better. Im sure your coach can figure out a gameplan to beat this kid and all you have to do is keep improving and working on your skills. If you work hard, the rest will take care of itself.

I am 5-4 now. I had won 4 fights in a row until this fight. I do not know how much longer I will be boxing so I don't necessarily have 10 fights to improve for this guy. I know I can beat him though. However, next fight was just pushed back to Sept 8th and it is in Pritchard, Alabama and I do not know if this kid is going to that one. We'll see.

              Thanks.

Well, good luck. IF you do fight that kid again, you'll need to be in the shape of your life, so you can let your hands go all fight. Never let him, wear him down. And use a lot more jabs.

Try feinting to have him throw first, so you can slip and counter. Takes a lot of practice though...

u need to work on your head movement if your going to be the aggressor, and cut off the ring a lot more make him feel pressure because mentally it might affect him if he feels he cant avoid being trapped. Depending on how well you move he might tire himself in a effort to get free. If you dont cut the ring off he feels safe and can just bounce around and take it easy because he know hes got a lot of ways to go to get out of trouble.
