I don't see you doing much moving at all in the shadowboxing vid, just a lot of light flurries... You should move a lot more, also with your punches, instead of standing still when you punch. Chances are that your opponent will move when you try to punch him, and you'll be hitting a whole lot of air.

Were you looking at yourself in a mirror, or window reflection? You should only do that when you're facing it, because standing with your side to it, you'll have your head turned, which means you can't shift your weight properly when you punch. This'll lead to bad habits. Try to FEEL your body movements instead. That's all you'll have in the ring anyway.

I think your shadow boxing is good. you should move around a little bit more, but the flurries were nice.

thanks man i never knew that about having to face the mirror.. and i was outside so i just looked at the window reflection but there are a lot of times that i shadow boxing without looking at a mirror and try to feel my movements

and as far as movement yeah im not great at going backwards and going right has always given me trouble as well i looked like jorge solis when he was moving in the direction he doesnt normally move against pacquiao and i dont know if he was doing it right or not but it just didnt seem that smooth or whatever im just used to jabbing and moving left all the time or forward..

Shadow boxing looked good, so why aren't you throwing the same speed and the same combinations at the bag.

You should throw the jab more!!

After your left hook, your hips should be rotated enough for you to throw a very powerful right hook, as you rotate your hips back to your normal stance if you catch my drift.

                    - i bought this book recently, and its not too expensive if you buy it second hand. It will explain a lot and is easy to follow. I bought it recently, and i know there are some sections will help you.

I think it says you can get it "used" for about $8. Thats cheap right?? I wouldn't know cos im english.

                    I recommend it anyway.
