Cuz Rappers make that **** look fun...

thats ****s not fun.. people actually die that ****s not cool to see someone get shot or beat the **** down wit pipes and bats.. or kicked in the face wit cleets.
That doesn't make me tough for just being around it.. just makes me aware that it can happen at any time. If half these dudes grew up in it and then moved out like I did they'd be sayin **** da Hood too...

..People are happy to leave the hood.. no one actually wants to stay there unless they know they have no way out.. Then they act like their proud to be stuck there their whole lives when they go to sleep worrying and wake up the same way.

People start ****in starvin for money because of TV and then starvin for food they start gettin ****in crazy... Thats all it is. mixed with Drugs.

Happy to live in Gainesville florida... Yall might know its not the best place but its better than camden and Roselle back in Jersey.

This is crazy man. We went from the ****** Workout to a commentary on poverty in America. I live in the burbs outside of Philly so none of this **** applies to me except for the training. Oh yeah **** hanging from stop signs all you need is a piece of ****ing wood and two even surfaces. You don't have to be from the hood to figure that **** out.

I'm with Dac man, honestly my hood where I grew up wasn't bad, but I guess you could say I had it rough, there just weren't too many guys like me in my area. Funny enough apparently where I am now is the gang-capital of the country, but it isn't that bad so long as you're not a fool steppin' on anybody's toes. Btw, the country is Canada, haha, not the US, so I ain't talkin' about Compton or some ****, London,ON, although walkin' around some parts of Toronto (where I'm from) I been hella more scared than London, I think the violence is worse in TO, but the gang things worse in London (apparently).

****, gettin' side tracked... with Dac..... ya.. arite, no one wants that **** man, are you serious? Ye, fine I'm proud I grew up hard and lived to tell the tale or some ****, but I ain't HAPPY I did, and for all the people like me who made it through that **** fine, there's 99 who didn't, or won't.

Actually back in the early days, 50 put it pretty good, he said somethin like: 'Everybody glorifies the gangstas, everybody wants to be a thug. But ask any real thug, they tell you no one wants it man. Bein' gangsta isn't somethin' you strive for, it's just somethin' that happens'.

So ya, even 50 the number one propogator of all this wanna be G ****, said himself no one WANTS that **** man. You get mad at Dac 'cause he says he's happy he made it out? You outta your mind man. Ain't no (sane) thug I ever knew told me: 'Yo Trick, I wanna stand on this corner my whole ****in' life an sling-cause it's GANGSTA!'. **** man, like I said I'm prouda myself for gettin' through what I been through, but glorifying the suffering that goes on in the lives of the impoverished is straight-up ******ed. That simple.

              ahhhhhhh

anyways, funny story, and back on topic-ish... I'm workin' in Germany this summer, still lookin' for a gym, so in the mean time, one of the things I've been doin' is chinups on this laundry bar thing in the courtyard of my apartment. haha, all my neighbours think I'm some convict or lunatic or some ****. haha, I guess people don't do that kinda **** over here. Haha, ah well, makes me laugh.

I went on holiday to Toronto last year. It was pretty nice. Should I have been wary of being shot?

haha, nah, other than a couple of the wrong places, which are small enough, it's not so bad. Most people who get shot get shot for a reason, gang, drugs, whatever. There's not much random ****. Although I remember a couple of boxing days ago, a couple of bystanders got shot up during a gang shootout like RIGHT downtown, like nice downtown... that was some wild ****.

As long as you don't act like an idiot, and don't walk down a dark alley at night with your pants down, TO is damn safe to visit.

                  Ohhhhhhhhhhh Cannnnnnnnnnadaaaaaaaaa

                  haha

I liked Toronto, i did all the touristy ****. Very good weather too - in the summer anyway. Hot everyday in July, people were really really friendly too. Might have to go back soon.
