Guy who spars at my gym(one of the top ammy's in the country) has the winning everything.... I see him in some intense sparring sessions and never once adjust his head gear..... the cheek gaurds seem to be a a different angle than most head gear, as in sticking out at a 45 degree angle rather than flat on the cheeks like the mexican style. This may really improve visibility.

ya ive had everlast too and everyone thinks there headgear is great but wait till you guys get a winning or grant headgear then youll never want to go back to everlast but anyway ya the padding on the forehead is thick as a mofo and I havent had one head ace since ive had this great winning headgear

one last question. whose padding is thicker by the forehead, grant or winning? i've seen grants and it's pretty good. i'm going to buy one or the other and if winning isn't significantly better i'll probably go with grant. thanks a lot man.

          winning headgear

          Visibility 10 outta 10 perfect.

Fit 10/10 damn headgear dosnt wobble or dance few times when you actually need to adjust it in 5..6 rounds of sparring
          oh and it real light

Protection 8/10 protects your nose prrety good... barely gets touched ...due to the fat cheek protectors

Best HeadGear available PLAIN N SIMPLE (aside from da 5000) but thats a preference thing

I personally dont like a bar in front ma face (big ass one at dat) like a *****

nice review. about the fg-5000 facebar model, i wouldn't really call that as a thing for ******* when many of the top boxers wear it, such as marquez, pacquiao, cotto (who also uses the fg-2900 non-face bar), etc. however, i think i may go for the 2900 model since it's lighter.
