Breath through your mouth when you aren't exchanging. Do more cardiovascular training, e.g. hill work.

its also the lactic acid cause your not fit enough, everyone gets that sick feeling when there at the high point of there fitness, i used to get it all the time during boxing after like the first round but a couple of months later of hard training my fitness increased and I didn't get the sick feeling atall. Increase your stamina and that feeling will go. Once i pushed myself so hard in long distance race in athletics i was sick afterwards. Its all about fitness.
