If getting inside is an issue that has to mean that most of your opponents have a reach advantage and probably a height advantage. Your trainer should be teaching you how to fight small. There are various ways of getting inside but your options are defined by your style. Mike Tyson had one way of getting inside, James Toney had an other, Roy Jones had his way of doing it too. In any case the best way to avoid getting hit is to present your opponent with a complex series of movements. Bob and weave, jab and move forward simultaneously. That is a very effective way to get inside without getting hit. It will also take a lot of practise to get it right.

ya man, just practice it. Especially if you're an outside fighter like me, it doesn't really come naturally. Takes some practice and some mean sparring punishment to get it right. If you have fast hands, try moving in between a
1-2, getting those hands back in time to protect yourself while hopefully keeping his hands busy, buying you some time.

      Peace

There is little doubt that you can do it. And once you get inside a lot of scarey things are going to happen to your opponents!
