If getting inside is an issue that has to mean that most of your opponents have a reach advantage and probably a height advantage. Your trainer should be teaching you how to fight small. There are various ways of getting inside but your options are defined by your style. Mike Tyson had one way of getting inside, James Toney had an other, Roy Jones had his way of doing it too. In any case the best way to avoid getting hit is to present your opponent with a complex series of movements. Bob and weave, jab and move forward simultaneously. That is a very effective way to get inside without getting hit. It will also take a lot of practise to get it right.
