It depends how many round u are going to be fighting and also it depend on ur relaxiation in the ring and fighting style. More aggresive style the more u need to run...Relaxed like Toney, it still varies. I say between 5 and 6mi 3or 4 times a week.

since long distance running isnt that important compared to doing intervals, i run only 1-3 miles a day. if my routine was intense i do only 1, average i do 2 miles, and i do 3 if i have lots of energy.

and i do my long distance runs after normal workouts

If your going to box 4 rounds do 5 intervels of 600m sprints. So basiclly take how many rounds you will box and add one.

2 miles everday is fine. I run 2 miles every other day and im in great shape. I can go about six rounds before i feel too tired. I've been running about five weeks now just every other day and before I could only go like two rounds and i was already tired as hell. But now, five weeks later running 2 miles every other day, i can go six good rounds and maybe eight in total. So yes 2 miles everday is great. As long as you dont stop.
