found out how many kcal you normaly eat and encrease wi5th 500 a day and if that doesnt work encrease with 1000 kcals a day.

    bout a 1lb a week is a good gain.

If you want to put on weight you get up late at night and eat an extra meal then. Your metabolism slows down at night and so you put more weight on, just make sure you do enough weight training to use the extra pounds effectively. The trick is to find a balance between training too little and over training.

I used to weigh 190 lbs possibly less, I'm 6'4", now I weigh 223 lbs exactly, true I have put some fat on but a lot more muscle than I did have. There's a book on this subject which I found very helpful, it's called Ultimate Nutrition and it gives you a proper diet for whatever sport you do. I can't remember the authors name but you will probably be able to find it on the net.

      Good luck!

What's up fasman? I feel you on the gaining weight thing. I've been in the process of gaining/trying to put on pounds for the last 2 years and the best thing for me has been some whey powder milkshakes.

EDIT: Milk + 1 Scoop of the Whey Powder + Banana + 2 or 3 Scoops of your favorite ice cream.

              Uh

More calories in the calories out = gain weight.

Protein should be 30% of your diet. Carbs and stuff the rest of it.

Good way to gain weight is eating bread with butter. Few slices a day and youll gain weight in no time.
