  • How can i put on weight!!!

    I've been going to the gym for bout 6 months and am about 173 pounds, im 6ft tall. i've only put on about 5 pounds Which means i havent got any bulk!!! i need to know what is the best way to put on bulk. i get picked up and slammed easily..lol. i need to know wat is the best method of exercise or training routine!! Thnx!!!

    You get picked up and slammed easily? So you are doing some sort of MMA training or something?

    Anyways its all in the diet you do and the weights you lift. Eat lots, train lots, cant go wrong.

      yea bro!! i do Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and bit of boxing!

      i do weights but the thing is i dont eat a lot!!!

      so i'll pick up heavy wieghts come home and eat hardly anything!!!

          if you get slammed really easily it could also be your not defending properly.

              Squats make your thighs put on weight like it's absolutely nothing. (In my case anyway) And.. protein powder helps too. It not only helps your muscles grow but, once again in my case, makes my apetite shoot through the roof. By the way, I took BJJ awhile back before I got into boxing and.. you don't want to put more weight on then your natural body permits or you get clumsy.. you're probably just not centering your weight down towards the ground which is why you get picked up. When your opponent shoots in on you or something make sure your low to the ground. CENTER YOUR WEIGHT.

                Also if your not sprawling properly and pushing down on the head when someone gets your leg its really easy to switch it to the double pick them up and slam them down.

                  Theres this thing called Muscle Milk that my friend took and he went from skinny to ripped in about four months time. Im not sure how much he gained, but he looked much bigger than before. You can try that, or just do it the old fashioned way and eat, eat, eat. You have to make sure you get the right amount of carbs and protein.
