I hate eggs!

    -- put it all in a blender, whip till frothy, and chug half of it. Put the other half in the fridge and drink it after your workout. With a lid on the blender, it'll keep for a few days in the fridge. ~400 calories, 40g protein, 2g fat in 1/2 a serving.

    Instead of berries, you can use a banana, or a tablespoon of peanut butter, or Ovaltine, or whatever. Something to give it flavor. Frozen berries are pretty cheap, though.
    It would work just as good with oranges instead berries, right?

      I don't see why not. Any fruit will work; having some kind of fructose (fruit sugar) in there will help with the protein uptake. Get creative and find something you like -- that way you'll keep doing it.

        hey fraidy, do you cook the oats first or just put them in uncooked.....wouldnt it create chunks?

          I don't cook them first. Use the highest setting on the mixer for about 30 seconds or so, and use instant oats. If you drink it in halves, like I do, you'll have to blend it again later b/c the oats will settle.

            Fraidy your shake is amazing thanks man, I ive tried it with bananas and blueberries both taste excellent and really fuel you up.

              I love eggs too, I can make an omelet out of this world,

              try adding salt and pepper to the egg batter before you pour it..and put lots of butter on the pan. cook the eggs on 3 or 4.

                Eversince Ive started to drop weight Ive been eating eggs for breakfast. Its to the point where I have to force feed myself like I am now. Im so tired of them.

                  I've always hated eggs, but now I kinda like them. I can never just eat eggs by themselves, alot of times for breakfast I make scrambled egg whites with toast bread and bacon and its a sandwich which is great. Put butter on the pan and add pepper and its alright.

                    I can't take credit for it, as it's an old-school bodybuilder's breakfast -- it's probably been around in some form or another since the days of Jack Lalanne. They used to use raw eggs and yogurt before the days of whey protein, and hardcore bodybuilders and strength athletes in the 60's and 70's used milk and raw calf's liver.

                    But I'm glad you like it. It's my favorite breakfast, personally. It really does get you going.

                      Actually berries are the best, since they contain more antioxidants than any other fruit. Especially dark berries. Blueberries are my favorite!

                      And yeah.... Eggs suck! I wouldn't eat the byproduct of a womans (*or any other animal) period either.
