Why should anyone give a **** if he beats Williams? Were you that impressed with that big test he had from Santos Pakau?

A win over Margarito would silence the critics for a minute and would be forgotten quickly. If Floyd beats DLH, he will be remembered for that fight...
Margarito beats everyone out there at welterweight. If, if, Mayweather was to defeat Margarito he silences everybody. At least it would be clear that Mayweather is the best at welterweight "IF" he was to defeat Margarito.

the originally scheduled fighter came in 1000 lbs overweight, so they sent his ass home and got someone else. it was just a mop-up anyway, and he was taking advantage of the tv time on a big card. i'm not saying overall williams would do anything atm, but TO ME he's the next big thing. so if floyd beat him, that would at least win me over. that's all i meant. also, walter matthysse is a really underrated fighter that will definately be back contending. i don't think you should have included williams in on your post anyway. he doesn't even hold a title yet

And Floyd would never fight Hearns or Leonard or Benitez or Duran. He'd have stayed at jr. welterweight.

Floyd is all hype, you want to prove me or many other wrong, then take the challenges, not the easy fights. And if you know that Delahoya will get his ass kicked then why should i give him creidit for beating an old legend...

Bob Arum, "Cindy, get Floyd on the phone."

          Cindy, "Yes, sire Mr. Arum."

Cindy, "Mr. Arum, floyd on line 2."

Bob Arum, "Thank you, Cindy.......now listen Floyd i would like you to fight Margarito next."

          Floyd Mayweather, "......"

Bob Arum, "Floyd you their....hello, Floyd..."

Floyd hangs up contacts his lawyer and buys out his contract from Arum and has avoided Margarito ever since.
dude, I dont want to start this over...

but now you are even writing dramatizations of your conjectures????

You could remove Hatton and Spinks. Cotto is a welterweight and we'll see what he does. Spinks, we all know even Mayweather has more power then Spinks.

cotto isnt proven. spinks lost to zab.

mosley is as dangerous as margarito and smarter. hatton would make it an interesting brawl.

LOL, dont forget Sharmba and a washed up Gatti.
Since no one but old over the hill fighters would add to his legacy, he should retire as he said he would.
