It's a shame that Morales clearly wasn't anywhere near his prime (be honest now), but yes, there's no denying that Pacquaio has walked it this year.

        FOY....Emmanuel D. Pacquiao.....he earned it.

...and Anorak, yes, it is a shame Erik was past his best; but at least he got one win over this human wrecking machine in what will now have to be viewed as "El Terrible's" last great stand.

Cong**** and props to Manny and his fans.

Well an Arguement could be made for Floyd, Pac, Wlad and Baldomir.

Pac yes beat Morales twice but Morales was coming off a horrible outing where he got dominated by Raheem so that diminishes those fights. He also beat larios who also came off of getting KTFO in his previous bout. Beating two fighters who previously got beat down isnt saying much imo.

Wlad Dominated Chris Byrd and Calvin Brock. Chris was unbeaten since I think 2001 or so and Brock was an unbeaten prospect he also picked up two belts not a bad year by any means.

Baldomir beat two names and shocked the world by be coming undisputed WW champ out of nowhere. He caused a lot of Buzz but didnt deliver when the Floyd fight came about. A good year for an Unknown fighter though.

Floyd beat Zab and Carlos and picked up the Undisputed WW championship while at it. Not the greatest wins in the world but he won both fights in Dominating fashion. Zab win would have been better if he wouldnt have lost to Baldo and the Baldo win would have been better if Baldo wasnt Baldo. Oh well what can you do.

Really based off the info at hand I would have to say Wlad should get it. Honorable mention to Pac but I dont think a fighter who beat two fighters who came off loses should win it. Also Honorable mention to Tata Baldomir who had an amazing year as well.

Larios was not KTFOd.. the fight was stopped due to a cut.

I wouldn't count Klitschko in. He was expected to slaughter Byrd who was half his size, and a relatively inexperienced Brock who has never fought anyone of note.

Manny Pacquiao is undoubtedly the FOTY Awardee. One vote here to the Filipino champ! Mabuhay!

There is a few standouts this year. I am going to say Pacquiao, just because all of his wins were so dominant. Him or Mayweather.

Baldomir had a chance to win the FOTY HAD he beaten PBF.
Competition-wise, Pac deserves the award more than PBF does
