I do understand that Pep fought so much that he really didn't have much of a choice: If he were to get a cut, bruise, etc. he wouldn't be able to earn money.

Fighters back then had to fight all the time because the purse was much smaller than compared to today.

arrogance, people cant stand it when floyd throws it in their face how great he is. everywhere on the web, its alot of floyd hate. but all credible outlets such as "ring" and espn beg to differ and give him his due.

to tell you the truth...the internet is a wonderful place, but you have to understand that this is the place where any opinion can be justified, any stat can tell you anything. this is the only place where i see people rippnig floyd for the most rediculous of reasons. only floyd could possibly be ripped for fightin the UNDISPUTED WW Champion. think about it.

what these people say..even what i say as a floyd supporter dont really matter, what matters is that in the end, hes still a 3 time linear champ, hes been ducked by some of the worlds best openly (hatton/shane), but he gets all the blame because hes extremely arrogant.

Bigtime would say it's because he is white. But the truth in the matter is that is the "sweetscience" That's what boxing is, hit and not get hit. If you can overpower your opponent, then overpower him. but if he is the bigger man, utilize your strength and take advantage of his weakness. Thats what Floyd does, he seldom is the bigger man in his fights now. he shows all different kinds of angle, breaks your rhythm, cause frustration, and keeps you off balance. What is sickening to me is that Bert Sugar is praising him there and he very rarely says anything positive about Floyd. Just goes to show how fickle people are, they just can't think for themselves.
