heh, Hatton is NOT P4P, the guy wrestled his way to a victory over Tszyu then moved up one weight class to 147 and got exposed badly. Immediately running back to 140 is NOT P4P.
You can say what you want about Floyd, but c'mon, saying Hatton has achieved as much as PBF?
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA.
Mayweather fighting DLH wont get him any closer to being an all time great. DLH is still good and i expect him to beat Mayweather but if Mayweather does cause an upset in my eyes wont make me want to kiss Mayweathers feet. DLH is a name but he is past his best.
Joe Calzaghe beat Eubank and people say Eubank was past his best when Joe beat him. Eubank was closer to his best than DLH is to his own prime. People dismiss Joes victory over Eubank as if the fight didnt exist. They still talk about how Joe Calzaghe would have done against Eubank, Benn or Collins?
Mayweather has got to stop copying RJJ and going up winning versions of belts but not beating the best guy in each weights.
Or beating weak champions holding the belts. Hatton has achieved as much as PBF. He has a better opponent on his CV. PBF is recognised as P4p the best, but people are not fooled by his record. Castillo gave him his hardest fight, and he dont want to fight Hatton because he is a P4p as well.Comment

it's not an opinion. beating Gatti and Judah is better than Margarito's entire career combined. it is a fact. if you beat better fighters, you have achieved more. Margarito has beat NO ONE.Comment

The WBO belt is the only leverage he has, and thats a ****ty amount of leverage at that. The Santos fight is whats really hurting his chances at floyd or even a meaningful date on HBO. Being on the undercard of cotto should say it all. hes such a name..such a force in the division, that hes on the UNDERCARD of cotto whos having his FIRST FIGHT in the division, HIS FIRST!
Come on man.
I also am laughing at the fact that people are saying the "RING" rankings for undisputed champion are an "opinion". Thats not an opinion, thats a fact. Baldomir was undisputed champion, how do you argue this? the ring had him listed as their champion, you can argue with the ring if you want, but ill take their decades worth of experiance over your couple years of posting on the site.Comment

I am not going to read all of the previous pages to see if somebody already said what I am about to say, but just in case they didn't:
First: Hatton does not want to fight Mayweather; if he did, he would have signed for the fight already.
I would like to know why Mayweather is able to negotiate with Zab Judah (who has Don King as a promoter), Baldomir (who got a good deal), and now Oscar Delahoya, but for some reason, not Hatton. And don't come up with some bull**** statement that Floyd is "scared" of Ricky. Oscar is much more dangerous, and is twice the fighter Ricky is even at this point in his career.
By my understanding, Floyd has contacted Hatton's people several times; with no prevail in making a fight happen. All I keep hearing from Hatton's people is that they want Floyd, but not right now. What do you mean "not now"? You are a ****ing Champion, yet you will not fight another?
I did read somebody else’s post that stated that they feel Hatton maybe wanting to face Mayweather in his last fight to "cash out", which has crossed my mind as well.
We cannot blame Floyd for not being the "Real Champion" at 140, if he was not being given a shot.
I feel that if somebody is obviously the "Top" person in the division to fight for the title, a fight should be made, without the bull**** that "we need more time" comment coming from the "Champion." In my book, Hatton turning down a fight with Mayweather, since Mayweather was the obvious threat to the 140 title, Ricky has a loss since he backed down.
Now people will jump on this about Floyd not fighting Margarito, but like I stated many times before, the offer of 8 million was on the table for Floyd to take, but that was only when Floyd was trying to fight Oscar in September, which did not happen. So what did Arum do with his offer of 8 million? He took it off the table. Why? I mean this would be a great time to have the fight now, but NO, it was a bull**** offer. It was only there to exaggerate Margarito up as if he was the "Dangerous" fighter that Floyd was avoiding. However, it makes no sense because why would Floyd take 8 million, instead of taking much more fighting Oscar, who I feel is a bigger threat.
For Cotto: The person is OK on skill, but not that great. His power is nice, but his chin lacks. He continues to leave himself open to be countered, especially by the uppercut. When you look at Cotto's skill, then look at what Floyd does, this is a mismatch, other than the possible puncher's chance of Cotto. On top of it all, Arum has made no intention of getting Cotto in there with Floyd, so this story is closed.Comment

At least a mandatory can force a fight. Margarito can't get a worthwhile fight with that piece of **** WBO belt around his waist. He would be better off throwing that **** in the trash...
So why is Margarito fighting Clottey since you said Margarito ducked all those other guys who called him out because they're not champions or P4P fighters? You gonna duck this question like you hero Margarito ducked everyone that called him out?

Stop posting ignorant garbage. Read the bolded below for my rebuttal, ***got.
I am not going to read all of the previous pages to see if somebody already said what I am about to say, but just in case they didn't:
First: Hatton does not want to fight Mayweather; if he did, he would have signed for the fight already.
And you know this how? You are going off of interviews off of Floyd that said Hatton denied his offers twice. On the other side of the equation, you have Hatton saying that has never happened.
He negotiated with Zab because Zab is an easy defense, he had a belt (a bull**** one at that) and he knew he would be making more money b/c the bout was tainted. Baldomir was easy to negotiate...the man was probably dirt poor before. He is happy with anything. Oscar DLH b/c he basically conned Oscar. "One more fight". I knew this would happen...nobody else predicted it but I did. Floyds a phony actor..
By my understanding, Floyd has contacted Hatton's people several times; with no prevail in making a fight happen. All I keep hearing from Hatton's people is that they want Floyd, but not right now. What do you mean "not now"? You are a ****ing Champion, yet you will not fight another?
Shut up.
I did read somebody else’s post that stated that they feel Hatton maybe wanting to face Mayweather in his last fight to "cash out", which has crossed my mind as well.

Bottom line, Floyd aint "the man" at 140. We can't blame him sure, but you can't just say he was the top when he never actually did it. In my book, you're an idiot.
Now people will jump on this about Floyd not fighting Margarito, but like I stated many times before, the offer of 8 million was on the table for Floyd to take, but that was only when Floyd was trying to fight Oscar in September, which did not happen. Look...Mayweather has always been saying "margarito wasn't worthy". here he was, getting the lions share of the deal to fight basically the peoples champ of the division. He wa getting 8 million to fight in his words "a nobody" when he fought hte likes of Corley, Bruseles etc. Corley is garbage too, by the way...you won't convince me otherwise.
For Cotto: The person is OK on skill, but not that great. His power is nice, but his chin lacks. He continues to leave himself open to be countered, especially by the uppercut.
