HAS HATTON MADE A FIGHT HAPPEN YET?

WHY FIGHT URANGO, THAT PROVES MY POINT. I don't even know who the hell this guy is.

Has Hatton tried to contact Arum to fight Cotto or Margarito?
How about fighting Whitter, I at least know his name, but Urango

And Hatton said the price was around 13 million that was offered, but he doesn't deal with the negotiations, he leaves that to his father. It's all excuses by Ricky Hatton.

I don't have the interview with Hatton's father saying they turned Floyd down and need more time, but somebody on this board could probably post it if they have it.

Who has Margarito fought? What are his numbers like?

Floyd wants popular fights to get his name bigger.

Zab was big in New York, so he fought him. Gatti was big in Jersey, so he fought him.

LOL, Mayweather is fighting Oscar. Oscar would whoop Hatton's ass and is a more dangerous fight for Floyd to take than fighting Hatton.

Like I said above, Hatton is fighting URANGO, and Floyd Oscar, not much more needed

The only guy he's missed fighting was Hatton and that was entirely Hatton's fault for turning him down twice. Then you could say Mosley, but Mosley turned him down for 2006 as well. Do you really expect Mayweather to WAIT for these guys, especially considering Floyd is the best fighter in the world and should be calling the shots?

Margarito and Williams are nothing more than prospects until they win some real fights. At least Williams wants to fight Margarito. If Margarito beats Clottey, Williams, maybe Judah then he should get a fight with Mayweather. Williams has a loooong way to go.

Cory Spinks has better wins than Margarito and Williams combined.

Cotto hasn't even accomplished anything really. I mean he's undefeated and has some good knockouts, but Hatton has a better win than most of Cotto's wins combined.

SO WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM HIM? Do you expect him to fight Jermain Taylor and Joe Calzaghe? Is that why you're mad?

Thats ****en ******ed to call Margarito a prospect damn, you sound like a damn newbie. Welcome to "boxingscene.com"

Floyd wants to get for an ass kicking or for a tough win with Delahoya, only reason he's fighting Delahoya is for the money simple at that.

Margarito isn't a prospect. I think he's gone to journeyman status by fighting prospects like Joshua Clottey and bums like ******* Gomez...

                  From FightFan.com:

FF: Ricky lets talk Floyd Mayweather. Last we spoke, you told me a fight with Mayweather would only grow into a bigger event as some time passes and that you’d likely meet down the road. Is Mayweather still a fight you want, how badly do you want it, and when would you envision it taking place?

RH: I definitely want the fight against Mayweather, he’s the number one pound for pound fighter in boxing so I really want the fight. But I signed a three fight deal with HBO (Collazo being the 1st in that series) and Mayweather wasn’t part of that deal. The idea was for me to have those three fights in the US so people can see me fight and my name will get built up. We really want the Mayweather fight but it will need to be negotiated. Obviously we’d want to see more money for a fight with Mayweather because the fight would be worth a lot.

I’d like to get the 2nd and 3rd fights of the deal with HBO out of the way and fight Mayweather with a clear head. Obviously I’ve had problems going on outside the ring with my former promoters and things like that. I had my debut at welterweight in America and I think a few more fights under my belt would make the fight even more exciting than it already is.

FF: Floyd Mayweather has said several times in the press in recent months that you demanded 13 Million dollars to fight him. Was such a fight ever discussed and can you comment on the validity of his statement?

RH: I don’t remember saying that exactly, but it was probably something in that region. I think it’s a mega fight worth a lot of money, but that end of it is really up to my father and my team to negotiate. I think it’s a fight people really want to see because people know Floyd moved up to welterweight without fighting the Lt welterweight champion. I think a fight between he and I could be one of the biggest fights to be made in boxing.

I just want him to be a man, if he thinks there's nobody great to fight, clean the division of all the pretenders and prospects. Fighters fight, period. I'd like him to talk less about how there's no point in fighting anybody because he'd win, and fight more. There's only more money to be made by him doing just that, and basically his talk equals not wanting to fight IMO.
