Hatton: PBF fights like a woman and is boring!

Well it helps when the fighter is coming in drained...you will not have the same "pop" in your punches when you are drained because you are going to be and feel "flat"...plus, by the time Tszyu was really able to land anything big, he was already breathing heavy...he was breathing through his mouth by the mid rounds.Comment

so i guess the same could be said of hatton against collazoWell it helps when the fighter is coming in drained...you will not have the same "pop" in your punches when you are drained because you are going to be and feel "flat"...plus, by the time Tszyu was really able to land anything big, he was already breathing heavy...he was breathing through his mouth by the mid rounds.Comment

I like to say I liked Hatton more than I liked Mayweather because of Hatton's style of fighting and I liked his interviews...things changed after I watched the Tszyu fight, but am not going to go back into writing the whole argument for that out. Now, Hatton is really getting on my nerves and I find myself defended Floyd more and more, something I did not do much of in the past.
If Hatton wanted the fight, he would have had the fight made before Mayweather moved up. If it is about MONEY, then fine, be honest and say that Money is more important than Legacy. In addition, do not give me some **** that this goes for Floyd, because everybody should know by now that Floyd is impatient when it comes to negotiating a fight: he is not going to sit around as Ray Leonard made his opponents sit around for years waiting for a fight to come off. Are we supposed to wait for a Hatton vs. Mayweather fight, as we waited for a Leonard vs. Hagler fight? Is this Hatton's strategy? To wait until a fighter gets older, declines, and is slower...is he taking notes from Warren when he said, "We are getting Tszyu at the RIGHT TIME”?
Seriously, how much more do we have to here this **** from Hatton saying he wants Mayweather NOW, but not Now, in a few more fights?
People are saying Mayweather's last fight was boring, but he fought a big welterweight, and he also hurt his hand once again.
How did Ricky look in his debut against a true welterweight? He looked good early, but later on showed his style and ability were not cut out for the welterweight division, thus going back down to 140, where it is safe, and far away from the dangers of 147, and Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Floyd is 29, going on 30...Fighters decline in there 30's, maybe this is what Hatton is waiting patiently for...Floyd said he wants one more fight, good, this is time for Hatton to tell HBO, lets make this fight happen now. You can always renegotiate your contract; nothing is ever solid, except for Britney Spears's prenup.
Hatton's style seems to be talking **** about Floyd in order for people to forget he is fighting CRAP. I never even heard of the person he is fighting, why is he fighting him? There is nobody else out there besides Urango?
You want to talk about Floyd's style; well at least Floyd is not going to be slurring his words when he retires.
I never heard so much **** in my life about a way a fighter fights. Did anybody ever talk this much **** about Pernell Whitaker? I am not sure, I am seriously asking.
So here, I will sum this up for everybody:
Hatton needs to tell everybody he wants Mayweather next, call HBO to renegotiate his contract to make a PPV fight next with Floyd...don't ask for 13 million dollars because you are not worth it...Shut your ****ing mouth about how Floyd is fighting because we all saw what happened to you against your opponent at 147...Stop trying to pull a Boy George and hug, and try to feel another man's genitals....I now know why Hatton is good running his mouth, because he gets lots of practice.Comment

It could have been that in reverse, although, Hatton was young and still an active fighter...Tszyu was coming off a long layoff from two serious injuries...at 35, years of wear and tear in the sport from training and fights, including trying to force his body to make weight, it was doom...but that is more of Tszyu's fault, since he should of known what he was getting himself into; he should of moved up after or even before he fought Mitchell...I do actually think he would of moved up if there wasn't any questions about his win against Sharmba the first time, but since people questioned it, Sharmba ran his mouth, he came back and fought at 140.
And yes, he did look good, not great, against Mitchell...I say not great because if you look up until he finally stunned Mitchell, Tszyu was missing with his punches, a sign of rust, and decline in his speed. On top of that, it didn't last long enough to test his stamina.
If Hatton thought it was just about not feeling comfortable about the weight, that he didn't have enough time to get adjusted, why not prove it and stay at 147...especially since he won the title against Collazo, didn't look impressive, and didn't do the respectable thing by giving him a rematch.Comment

Being a fan of the "sport" of boxing I'd rather much see Floyd, Hattons style is broader line UFC. Hatton would say Floyd fights like a woman, because as long as Floyd uses his head Hatton probaly won't beable to touch him. I really want to see tham fight but Floyds stuck with the Margarito/DLH talk, and Hatton just moved down like a lil biatch, so this fight as a possiblity looks unlikely...sadly.Comment

hatton still won, he found out in that fight that 147 wasn't his best weight so he moved down to his best weight which is 140
floyd can still make 140 easily though i think he has his mind set on 154Comment

what the **** do you mean why didn't he wait a few months. hatton and his camp clearly stated a few times that he needed more time and if it were to happen it wouldn't be until the next year. FLOYD WILL MAKE HATTON AND ALL YOU BRITS ON HERE TALKING YOU **** LOOK ****** IF AND WHEN HATTON EVER STEPS UP TO THE CHALLENGE.Answer the question. Why couldn't he wait a few months to make a fight that could do endless good for his legacy instead of going for a fighter who'd lost 2 of his last 3 fights against meaningful opposition? Actually, only one of those was anything approaching meaningful. The WW division was weak as hell when Floyd moved up.
And yes, Hatton, Cotto, Harris, Witter and Tszyu are better fights than Judah, Baldomir and Mitchell. All Tsyzu had said at that point was that he wouldn't fight again in 2005. Plus you'd get to see Floyd perform at his optimum weight so there could be no excuses.Comment

Floyd can probaly move down, but hes not a lil biatch, so I doubt he'd move down when all the big fights are at Welterweight which is why Cotto and Hatton moved up in the first place to follow the Floyd train. Hatton won, deined a rematch, and went back down in weight. Hes now on the same feild as Margarito as to what he offers at the moment for Floyd even tho I want them to fight, more than any other possible fight right now(other than Collazo), I just dont think Floyd will chase after Hatton...Comment
