People forget that not only was Tyson a devastating puncher, but in his prime he punched in combination. Tua has been hit very hard in his career. But the type of fire power from Tyson is something totally different. He's not going to take just one hard punch but he's taking 2,3,4 punch combo with bad intentions on ALL OF THEM. I doubt Tua would get KO'ed by one punch from Tyson, but if he's hit with a 3 punch hard combo from Tyson, he'd be a world of trouble. Not only to the head but also to the body where he would've been vulnerable. Ibeabuchi was a good puncher but he never caught Tua with a clean combo to really hurt him through the fight. Lewis jabbed & nailed him a few times but that was just one punch at a time.

So some people beleve David Tua would be KO'd early? Fair enough, everybody is entitled to their opinion. And with respect to the poster above me, Ike was throwing combinations with bad intentions pretty much the whole fight, and landing a few, quite a few.

Ike was landing combos but they weren't clean punches. Alot were being caught on the gloves but they were hard punches. He never really landed more then 2 clean punches at once.

Tua is not so talented but boy, does he have a chin!As has been said above, I havent seen Tua get hurt.He often gets behind in scorecards alot but just keeps on walking forward until he lands a big punch!Boom!KO!

Prime Tyson is a mean puncher.Aside from a prime Foreman, I might say he is the meanest puncher ever. And people above are right, its not only 1or 2 punch combos, its 4-5 punch flurries, with every punch detonating loudly.

Who would win?Meanest puncher versus meanest chin?Hmmm....

I would say Tua with a late KO.Tua can take IroN Mikes punch, but I dont think Tyson can survive a Tua right hand.Heck, have you seen the Tua vs Lewis fight?Even if Lennow blocked David's punch, you see him move back because of the power behind the blow.Tua has a mean chin with a very mean punch. In a 12 round fight, Mike is gonna get tagged eventually...and get KO'ed.

I don't favor a Tyson knockout, but a decision win, yes.

The one thing Tyson can do to Tua, that others weren't able to do to him, is Mike can punish David's body.

I think Tyson could decision Tua, but I think Ike would have a GREAT shot against mike.
Iron chin, power, activity and good stamina???
                  Bad combo for mike.
Not to mention that Ike was even more badass than mike, so there goes the intimidation factor.

Exhausted Tyson defeated by brutal KO

Tua has more devastating one punch power and he is physically stronger. Tyson of course is quicker and more skilled. Both have outstanding (incredible) chins. However, Tua early in his career displayed great stamina while Tyson always became arm weary and tired once his fights went past 5 or 6 rounds. Therefore, the bout most likely is a brutal war as neither man is going to dance away and if it goes beyond the middle rounds Tyson suffers a brutal knockout after becoming exhausted and defenseless.

Ike was pretty badass in his prime and did well against a prime Tua. Tua doesn't hit as hard with his right, although still hard, like his left. He also doesn't use an arsenal of punches like Mike did in his prime.

Mike was also more of a body puncher in his prime, I am not sure how many shots to the body Tua was trying or was landing.

Ike's got a shot though, he was fast, powerful, and had a great chin. I think he was 6'2, 230+ that had good stamina, that's a danger to anyone.
