So you're saying that Danish mainstream news media are less credible than online boxing websites, or that they somehow know less about what's going on in Team Palle? Where do you have the knowledge about Danish media to back this up?

No I'm saying wait and see what happens. Look just 2 weeks ago we all heard that Kostya Tszyu was coming back to fight Hatton. That was Russian mainstream news media. So why believe that Denmark news media would be more credible?

First of all, there's no wait and see, because the fight probably won't happen just because Palle offered Calzaghe money to fight Kessler.

Second, if you have to compare Danish news media to Russian news media, you know you're on shaky ground. That's like comparing Danish government to Russian. Or Danish organized crime to Russian. We have nowhere NEAR the amount of corruption in our society, that Russia does. That comparison is laughable, really, and it shows exactly what my point was: You don't have the knowledge of what the Danish news media's standards of credibility are.

Yeah, this is clearly a negotiating ploy. If Palle himself thinks a bigger purse is available in the UK, then the fight won't happen anywhere else.

The fact is Calzaghe is the bigger name, he is the more accomplished fighter, and he has the leverage in this negotiation (if there even is one taking place). Hence, the fight will be in the UK or it won't happen. But...

The unanswered questions (will Calzaghe fight Manfredo and/or Taylor?, will Kessler take his mandatory first?) prohibit this discussion from being very relevant at the moment.

If Calzaghe takes the Manfredo fight with the idea that a win makes a Taylor fight likely for a HBO PPV megafight spring/summer 2007, Calzaghe-Kessler can't happen until winter 2007 at the earliest. Depressing. Kessler, meanwhile, is injured and has the long-delayed mandatory, so he can fight Andrade in spring 2007 and then with a win wait for the winter 2007 date with Calzaghe--IF Joe can get past Taylor.

Too many questions and if's involved. Calzaghe-Kessler won't happen anytime soon, folks.

Palle probably has told the danish news agencies that they've made this offer. It doesn't mean that it's a genuine offer though.

No YOU should shut up about **** you have no knowledge of. Besides, there's nothing to see, Calzaghe won't take the offer.
