I can't see Joe getting £4m unless it's a) in the US or b) a big name that fills the Millennium Stadium. Both are indeed entirely possible but the latter might be possible with Kessler if only for the belts.

I suppose Taylor at the Millennium Stadium is too much to hope for though. That would be epic.
I'd love a big fight at the Millennium Stadium, I went there for an FA Cup final a few years ago and its an awesome arena. I doubt it would sell out though.

At the moment I'd probably prefer Calzaghe to fight Taylor, Taylor has the recognition in the states, Kessler has virtually no recognition in septic-land.

I was there for the Rugby League Challenge Cup final a couple of years ago too. The noise is immense with the roof closed, and that was without any taffs terrorising your eardrums with their close harmony singing.

I'd prefer it to be Taylor because he's the better boxer and to beat the man who beat the man is the best he can do given Hopkins' retirement. The only real appeal (a big one though granted) of Kessler is the belts.

Been to the MS quite a few times. Absolutely superb arena - I've been to some of the best around the world and it's right up there. The views are so good everywhere you could probably see the action pretty well from Row Z in the upper tier!

1st time i went to the millenium stadium i was in Row Z in the upper tier - I have literally sat at the back!! which i was pretty pleased about cos its better than being 2 rows from the back of something like that. I can tell you that yes, the views from there are good although the players (i went to watch England vs Wales at rugby) looked tiny. I have been a couple more times though since and had much better seats, in fact I was there last Saturday and was nearly at the front. Great stadium. Not a touch on Upton Park though!! lol

On the fight, either Kessler or Taylor would be a great fight for Joe and I think he could win or lose them both - pick em's in other words. However, he is actually signed to fight Manfredo now apparently. Joe KO 4

It makes much more sense holding this fight in the UK anyway.

Kessler has to fight his WBC mandatory Andrade, doesn't he?

Joe would probably earn much more with a fight against Taylor.
I think the offer looks okay also considering the british TV rights is included. Remember Calzaghe is no way near as big a star in boxing as Mayweather and Mayweather was fighting the undisputed welterweight champion who just had 2 significant wins against big named american opponents.

One could perhaps also guess what Warren would have to offer Kessler for a fight in the UK from this offer. Do you think it would be fair to make a counter offer for Kessler of perhaps a little bit less than this offer?

Kessler is injured until March and has to fight his mandatory anyway. Kessler can just choose to get stripped of his WBC belt, but that defeats the whole object of a fight with Calzaghe.

This will by far be Joe's biggest purse ever.

Joe what excuse will you come up with now ?. So far it has been money. With the offer of 4 belts on the line plus by far the biggest purse of his life.. I cannot imagine he can find more excuses

Joe and some of his fans have used the "Kessler isn't a big name, who is Kessler?" excuse to death.
Well, that name is now putting 3.4 mill on the table to Joe. Win, lose, or draw

This moron is just making all that up. Joe is'nt Floyd.
Where exactly did you read all this? How come it's not on any website? Why is it that only you know about it?

It's all over mainstream Danish news sites, so I think it's pretty legit.

Exactly Danish news sites. Denmark is the country that Kessler is from. It's just a rumour and I'm sure the truth will come out soon.
