I think Margarito is the most dangerous welterweight I've seen out there, but I admit I haven't seen much of Williams. If he beats Margarito I will give him a ton of respect. Hell if he just fights him I will.

When you are fighting C and D level fighters, of course you're going to look good...

Yeah, look at mayweather, he's fighting fighters that he should not be fighting at this point in his career. His first fight should have been with a welterweight not former jr. welterweights.

Margarito will win. Mayweather knows Margarito is too much for him. He's never truly considered fighting Margarito. Floyd knows Margarito gots his number. People like to discredit Margarito just because he wants to fight Mayweather. Whats funny is that Williams gets more credit then Margarito, but then again, this credit and support is coming from margarito haters and your casual boxing fan. Margarito is going to punish, the punisher, then he will continue on the road to take down every fighter who claims to be the best.

The great thing is that margarito is younger than gayweather....so what do you think gayweather will do ...fight margarito or retire?...I think we all know the answer ...so why ask if gayweather would discredit margarito when he would rather retire than face the most feared man in boxing......

I can only speak for myself when I say absolutely not. Floyd would improve his championship image in my eyes by fighting Margarito by double. To take a chance with a bigger, stronger opponet like Margarito would say a lot about Mayweather's character, something I haven't seen a whole lot of in the past years.....

And no, I wouldn't abandon Margarito either.
