Alot of people think Margarito would beat Mayweather, I guess the Cintron fight was something more than I can assess, I dunno. If Mayweather destroys him, or does what he did to Baldomir Saturday, will you finally say let's cut the **** and find another big welterweight to ooh and ahh at? Let's try to stay on topic here.
If Mayweather beats Margarito, will you discredit Margarito?

i can see it happening... even if mayweather would fight Wladimir Klitschko and ko's him in the first round people would still say mayweather needs to fight a true contender and wlad had the disadvantage because ..blah blah blah.. and so on -
I want to know if they'll suddenly abandon the Margarito bandwagon and tell him to jump in a lake.Comment

I wouldnt discredit Margarito but I'd give Floyd ALOT more credit for beating him. Baldi is not Tony. Tony is faster, stronger, tougher and better conditioned.Comment

For the record, I don't think Margarito can beat Mayweather and actually think Williams can beat Antonio. However, since Mararito knocked out Cintron, who is a good welterweight and he's got all of that power and is wildely respected by the boxing community, Floyd would only help enhance his reputation by adding Margarito's name to his gun belt.Comment

i wouldnt be suprised in any way,its what i would expect 2 happen, margarito is a bum and floyd would beat him easilyComment

I'd give all the credit in the world to PBF and of course discredit Margo with all the **** talks he made.
Though boxing is a sport, it is also a business. People pay to see it And that's how boxers make big money. PBF has to give what people want and not selectively hand-pick his opponents. In the end, though you may have the best record, it will be the people judging you. Ali does not have the best record, but majority still considers him the greatest.Comment
