If anything, Briggs seems like he's very eager to unify. He really wants the fight with Wlad and I'm willing to bet he'd take Valuev on in a hearbeat.
who cares what he wants, don king owns his ass and no way hes gonna allow briggs to fight Klitschko without any options, and Klitschko wont go for any of kings **** and I dont think he will put valuev up against briggs either...

he lost fair and square. he was "knocked the *** out"

rematch will be boring and will only prove that shannon knocked him out. as he will do it again.

I haven't seen this fight, but just out of curiousity, was the fight that close? If there wouldn't have been a knockout, would Liakhovich have had a chance to win, if not then I don't see the point of this debate if the fight was already lost.

Supposedly Sergei was up on all the cards, but didn't seem to have the legs to stay away from Briggs.

My assessment is that the WBO will take the high road, deny his appeal, and order him back for an automatic return match.

                    • After cooling down and thinking this over, I think an immediate rematch is the best course of action. Stripping Briggs wouldn't be right.
