What will the American public buy more (bear in mind Blow can fight Kessler in the future anyway, even if it's not his next bout)

Blow vs. Kessler or Blow vs. Taylor? Hmmmmmmmmm, a tough one.

I await the day when Janeorg makes a thread that ISN'T about Kessler. It's reaching almost Versatile-Miranda proportions.

I'd rather see Kessler vs Calzaghe then any other fighter in the 160-175 range vs Calzaghe..

What about you, are you interested in this fight?
Hey Jangeorg, you've probably seen more Kessler fights then anyone else here. How would you rate Kessler's chin, I've not seen enough of Kessler to rate his chin, but I want you give me your honest opinion on his chin, because I really want to be rooting for Kessler against ****zaghe.

I would like to see this fight!

Yes i have seen all of Kessler`s 38 fight

Kessler`s chin?,let`s us see,Kessler has fought 38 fight, has only lost 3-4 round, never been floor,he has no make of he`s face.So it is hard to say about Kessler`s chin,he has always dominate all his fight,he has been hit,but never shaken

There's no demans in the states for a Kessler bout...where **** was the demand for the Bika fight? Or Salem? Or Mkrtchian? I've never seen a fighter like Joe SHY away from so many challenges only to fight comeplete no-names.

I want to see Joe fight (and beat - which he would quite easily, assuming he's "up" for it) Kessler.

I'd prefer to see him fight Taylor or Hopkins. He's fought, and beaten, several of the "next big things" in Europe before now.

Hopefully it's not a one or the other.

Joe imo. needs Kessler far more than Kessler needs Joe - the sad thing is that Joe either doesn't realize this or only cares about money here and now. also Kessler is the one trying and trying to make this happen, while Joe would rather fight a 42-year old retired fighter, another middleweight or the runner-up from a reality TV-show. Way to go Joe

Joe should fight Mikkel...this way an undisputed champ brings much more to the table for future fights regardless of who wins.I think Joe feels like time is running out for him regarding the big names.
As little that i have seen of Mikkel, he looks like a solid worthy champ but Joe wins if they ever fight tho.

I think I can say, without any change of being contradicted, that that is utter nonsense.

The very fact that Calzaghe is talking about fighting some of the biggest names in boxing (which, lets be honest, Kessler isn't) shows that Calzaghe doesn't need Kessler. The fact that Kessler is only mentioning Calzaghe (oh, and the money having to be right) shows just who needs who here. Joe's fought plenty of Kessler types over the years - some even more hyped than your guy - so I can see why the lack of enthusiasm over this.

Who's this runner up in a reality tv show then? Jade Goody? Well, I'd watch it just to see her get a few smacks ....

Out of interest, just what are Kessler's options? Lets be honest here, nobody's even mentioning him apart from Calzaghe (for which you should be very grateful). The SMW has never been host to more than one or two world class fighters at a time so it's difficult to see just where Kessler would go anyway. He's already shown he's better than the likes of Beyer and Mundine but really that's not saying much.

Saying all that, I expect the fight will happen. My money's on March 3 (St David's Weekend) in Millennium Stadium. If only due to the fact I expect the americans to hold off Joe until the latter part of next year, and Clinton Woods' camp really don't want a bar of Calzaghe.

Edit - PS does anyone really blame anyone for going for the money? It's a tough business and you're long retired afterwards. I'd fight for the biggest purse at the end of my career every day of the week.
