Wright did beat him. Anybody with a lick of damn sense knows that. If you want a testament, listen the the Arkansas contengent before the decision was announced. I was there. I saw it. Every damn fan that came in from Arkansas had their heads hung low, accepting that Wright had beat their man...until the judges screwed Wright. Then, and only then, did you start hearing the crap that you're spewing.

    Winky Wright won that fight.

....oh, and for the record, no. I picked Taylor to win, I just don't live in a state of denial.

      Back to subject.

I personally don't really want to see a fight between Kessler and Calzaghe cause it is not going to be popular with american fans.

The voting here is overwhelming to see it, but this is not just an american forum, and most people here are not just the average boxing fan who watches free HBO for the fight.

I would rather see both men fighting Americans, Light heavyweights coming down to fight them, or middle-weights (Jermain Taylor) coming up to fight them.

I just don't see how it helps either man gain popularity continuing to fight in Europe. Calzaghe gained some by crushing Lacy, Kessler doesn't have much because he never fights outside of Denmark.

I think it would be an interesting fight, but I am tired of watching these fights on tape-delay and it being an all Europe-fest. It would be really cool if they fought at the Garden in NewYork instead of Europe.

There are a lot of other opponents I'd rather see Calzaghe fight than Kessler

K- Dogg what the hell your smoking today, many people thought Taylor won the fight, I know a few more had it for Wright, it was like the Hopkins fights which more people had it for Taylor.

I agree it was Taylor's toughest fight, but I still had Taylor winning by a point!

Fine, fine. I strongly disagree; but fine. All I know was I had Wright winning; and I could see that most of those who were at the fight had Wright winning by their facial reactions. The Arkansan contingent was depressed as hell until the decision brought them back from the brink of a possible mass-suicide.

              It doesn't matter anymore, anyway.

Reason why is because most of them had Taylor winning just like I did.

I'm guessing not much of this thread is going to make it past the Jangeorg censor when it comes to cutting and pasting for his next "Calzaghe must be put to death if he doesn't fight the mighty Kessler" thread.
