If Floyd was a baby Tyson an KOing every1 like Tyson did and capturing an audience like Tyson did threw 37 fights people would be Ok with him leaving at this point maybe not happy but Ok, but the fact is Tyson didnt have the names that Floyds has in front of him, flowyd is in a division that really incompus two divisions and thats 140- n 147 give or take 7 pounds! For him to say he'll fight ONLY 1 more fight when there are atleast 5-6 more fighst out there for him is ludacris, i think his a little skeptical becuz his next fight (_last fight _) could be his hardest, We know ODLH is a warrior he went 9 rds with a naturally much bigger and 1 of the greatest MW ever in B_hop he beat a PRIME Tito despite the L he beat a Prime Vargas **** he beat a guy that reminds me of PBF a little and thats Sweet Pea, Then theres Margo a guy that every1 at 1 point or another thought Floyd was ducking, his in his prime at this point and pretty much destroying guys (despite there horrible records), then you got Cotto (PBF would kill him) theres Hatton (despite Hattons hug and slug style it would be a good fight) theres Quintana, Collazo and of course Paul Williams, any1 of these fights could prove to be harmful to Floyd thus the 1 more fight with a guy he obviously think he can beat! But if ODLH is smart he'll fight some1 else first to make Floyd fight 1 more fight and then him to make things more uneasy and pricey!

Oh and did i mention Mike Tyson lost his 38th fight aginst a determined fighter could Floyd fill that same disappointment!

        Or
#1) He's realizing that he's the only one buying the "I'm the best ever" and "I've never ducked anybody," nonsense, so he's getting out while he still has credibility.

            2. Now no one will ask him to fight Margarito as his last fight.
            1. He's not really retiring... Just hopes #2 actually happens.
I actually think he's just afraid of losing a fight, period. If he still has the heart to fight any opponent, he should go back down to 140, maybe even 135 where he has looked his best and dominate. At 147 those top contenders are gonna take him down.

I don't believe and don't think he should retire. At least have 40 fights IMO. There are so many welterweights out there.

he can't sell tickets for ****..........................not how he perceives himself too. i'd be miffed too if i was as good as floyd and couldn't sell out a house, no matter how hard i tried. floyds marketing is crapola at it's best if you ask me. i could go on for days too about this. but that's my take.

i bet if he was selling out fights like oscar or tito was he would have never mentioned retiring. he would have a list of fighters that he would fight, he'd have them all lined up too, only if he could sell out a show. and sell some ppv's too, i'm sure those numbers are crap as well.

was the last fight (Baldomir) a sellout ?

I have DirecTV, and they were charging $59.95, no way I was gonna pay that. I get to see it for free this coming weekend on HBO

I think floyd is just sore that after all his **** talking about him being HBO and PPV he realized after the baldomir fight that he is not a heavy hitter in the box office and without some major hype he cant sell ppv. Therefore cant really negotiate with Oscar, or act like he is that much better money bargaining wise than other fighters.
