oscar has fought top talent no doubt, BUT vargas was just destroyed by tito and wasn't no where near the same, mosley beat him twice, quartey should of got the win, sweet pea should of got the win, sturm should of got the win, he went out like a ***** against b-hop, and tito well more like payback for all the bull**** decisions oscar got. so in closing oscar has fought top comp but didn't fair to well in my book.

I agree that he shoudn't have gotten the nod against Strum, had he come in shape and takenhim seriously he would have easily outboxed him but I won'e make excuses he should have lost that one. Anyone who saw the Tito fight and knows anything about boxing knows that Oscar won that fight wether or not he got the decision. Trinidad never hurt him or rarely evenb touched him for that matter and didn't do anything to win that fight. Oscar outboxed him the entire fight landing the combinations and landing the more effective punches, except for the last couple of rounds. He still won the majority of the rounds at least 7-5 or 8-4 last time I ckecked the math that still should end up in a decision for Oscar. How can you say Whittker won that fight when all he did the whole time was run around the ring and try clowning for the judges. Oscar won a close but not contreversial decision. He won an ugly fight but than again it is always gonna be difficult to look good against Whittaker.

Floyd is delusional, and doesnt like people (critics/realists) poking at his bubble.

It's one or the other. I can't see how a rational, intelligent boxing fan could believe that Mayweather is "more of a legend" that De La Hoya. Just look at the people De La Hoya fought and then look at the people Mayweather fought.

Look at the amount of PPV buys for Oscar's fights, then look at the amount for Floyd's fights.....there's a dropoff here folks.....

I think they mean skill wise, oscar isn't going down in history as one of the greatest boxers (maybe honorable mention) but he always fell short and just not as impressive skill wise. Oscar will be HOF based off his sells of PPV and his promotion of the sport.

Chaves was way ou tof his prime in both fights, he lost to mosley twice, Mayorga is not really a top fighter, he just took advantage of a weak division, Vargas was Tito leftovers, and castillejo and Sturm aren't TOP fighters. those losses hurt his leagcy to me and he never dominated a fighter that everyone thought would give him problems. Every fight Floyd is criticized and suppose to be in big trouble and he dominated Corrales, Hernandez, and gatti.

Sturm, Mosley, Whitaker, Hopkins and Quartey, all beat him.

I'm a huge PBF fan, but i'd have to agree that nothing he said in that interview sounds right, especially if he plans to retire after one more fight & expects his legacy to be great then DLH's.
