De La Hoya/Mayweather fight not happening

Yesterday afternoon ********** received a call from six division champion Oscar De La Hoya, who once again, provides our readers with a must read exclusive that you're going to have to read to believe. De La Hoya doesn't seem all that interested in fighting Mayweather anymore, and it has nothing to do with Mayweather's showing, because get this, Oscar didn't even see the fight. Put simply, De La Hoya is no longer, "feeling the Mayweather fight", so much so that his offer to Mayweather has apparently been cut in half. De La Hoya also guarantees that he will be fighting on May 5, 2007 and although he doesn't know who is opponent will be yet, he plans to once again, discuss with Don King, the possibility of a rematch with Felix Trinidad. All this and much more just one click away, ONLY ON **********!

Mayweather wants to fight De La Hoya and get all this money and retire according to him. Oscar might feel like he is being used and doesn't want that.

Trinidad is a bigger draw. Especially if he is worried about his legacy. MW might run the entire fight with DLH. PPL want to pay for exciting fights not boring boxing exhibitions.

You have to read the interview its funny as hell. Oscar said he might fight him if he accepts half of what Oscar is currently offering which is laughable. Everyone says Floyd is arrogant and egotistical man Oscar came off worse than Floyd ever has imo in the interview. Oscar needs to stop trying to get a fight with a retired fighter and Man up.

I've been saying that he didn't want to fight and was making excuses of not fighting. I don't beleive nothing he says and he can fight Tito and lose, I won't be paying for that one. You talking about floyd running, that's all oscar going to do if he faces Tito is run, just like the last fight.
