and briggs has a great chin and defense? briggs will be a hell of a lot more vulnerable than briggs. neither guy takes a great shot,,,but wlads defense is much better,,as is his stamina,,speed and accuracyComment

Briggs chin is very underrated, the only man to stop him was Lennox Lewis who the ref stoped the fight which Briggs could've still continuied.
But Wlad stamina is even better then Briggs, which tells you how ****ty Briggs stamina is.
If Wlad survives the first 4 rounds against Briggs then I see Wlad stopping Briggs around the 9th round.Comment

No need to start thinking about Wlad vs. Briggs because my man Ibragimov is going to tear Briggs a new one and knock this hypetrain of it's tracks before it gets very far.Comment

Oh man don't already start making excuses for your white foreign heavyweights who haven't been knocked out yet. By the way, how did that Mayweather-Baldomir fight turn out? Did Baldomir rough him up and beat his ass like you said? I heard somewhere Baldomir lost every single minute of every single round. You get an A for effort though! IdiotComment

Ibragimov would beat Brigg's overrated ass into retirement, and Ray Austin would be a pick 'em fight with Briggs as well.Comment

briggs was KO'd by wilson too.... and botha pretty much beat the crap out of him...Briggs chin is very underrated, the only man to stop him was Lennox Lewis who the ref stoped the fight which Briggs could've still continuied.

I find it hilarious how quick people are to jump on the Briggs bandwagon when he beat and out of shape Sergei, completely mentally unfit to defend his title as shown by his meltdown after the fight. Quick what do Darrol Wilson, Sedrick Fields, and Jameel McCline have in common?
They are all worse than either Sergei of Ibragimov, and they all beat Briggs.
Briggs is an inconsistent heavyweight who fighting at the best of his potential is merely a solid contender. Saturday night he got lucky, period. He would have been easily stopped by the Sergei who beat Brewster, or even the half blind Brewster who lost that fight. You'd have to be a Briggs nuthugger or new to boxing to think Sergei was even close to fit, either physically or psychologically.Comment
