Thats cause DLH has nothing else to prove, hes already made his mark in boxing and doesnt need to prove to anyone that he is/was the best of his era..Mayweather wants DLH so bad, he denies it all the time. But hes the one calling his name when he gets interviewed even if they dont even ask about him.

DLH's Career > Mayweather's Career... He aint near DLH's level, look at the fighters DLH fought and look at Mayweathers.

i just watched the merchant-mayweather interview again. floyd was talking like he isn't going to retire anytime soon.

" I'm the king of the throne and Floyd Mayweathers' here to stay"
"the only thing im going to do is keep racking up victories and beatin the best"

lol He's not gonna retire, he loves himself too much. A week from now if not a few days, he's gonna calm down and his lil emotional issues will fade away and he'll realize that he needs and wants to be back on the TV fightin, or he'll "retire for a couple months" than come back lol...Not a chance in hell he's gonna retire.

I really think his hand plays a huge part in this. He really wanted to end this fihgt by KO but he acted like his broke hand held him back. PBF isnt going to fight 80% just to fight, unless the hand is 100% he will be retired.

It's not what he says, it's the fact that he BELIEVES it. He really thinks he's better than Ray Robinson and Ali. He really thinks that he's going to fight Oscar and retire. He really thinks that he's an all-time great.

The fact is his ego is too big. He has so many people whispering in his ear that he's so great that he actually believes it. He needs someone that to tell him that he's just a good fighter right now as compared to the greats of all time. He's not even half as great as Ray Robinson ever was. The problem is that when you tell him the truth he thinks your criticizing him and saying negative things (look how he lashed out at Larry Merchant).

He's just a spoiled, protected kid.

I think that about sums it up, I wish Robinson were around today to knock this kid on his ass. Hell, if Robinson were around today, Floyd may have never even gotten this far or this ****y.

It was funny how offended he got when the guy brought up DLH. Saying he will never be a legend blah blah. I bet years from now people will remember DLH over Mayweather.

they very well might, but it won't be for his boxing skills and the opposition he beat. Oscar has never quite got over the hump, was always 1 defeat away from being considered one of the best and has always come up short. He will be remembered for breaking PPV records though and stealing all the fighters and creating a monopoly of boxing promoting though.
