This is exactly the kind of **** I've been saying. All he's ever said is he wants to be notorious within the sport and beat the best. This kind of bull**** mockery isn't going to help him gain any "legacy" or any more fans either.

It's a lose/lose situation for Mayweather in my eyes at this point. Even disregarding all the nonsensical, bull**** decisions he's made in the past up to this point, this is just the last straw in my eyes.

If he does actually retire and never again returns to fighting, what the **** does that accomplish? I'd really love to know that because right now he is on the brink of greatness, it is well within his grasp in another 2-3 fights. Retiring now, and saying "I don't need boxing" pisses me the **** off. He may as well went and spit in Muhammad Ali's face and took a **** on Ray Robinson's grave if you ask me. It's totally disrespectful!

And say he retires NOW, and comes back later. What then? It still accomplishes nothing, his reflexes wouldn't be as quick, he wouldn't be as hungry(not that he ever was THAT hungry), he'd be older, etc.. Coming back after retiring will only diminish what he's done thus far which is why I think Hopkins is nuts!

Wow. I can't believe he's doing this so soon. He should have at least 3 more fight. DLH, Margarito, and then maybe Hatton. He's still got a lot of great competition out there in front of him and he's not even been tested yet (since coralles at least) Let's see what he's made of.

Although I can't help thinking this is all hype to try and build up an all out showdown between two great fighters (PBF and DLH) and promo it as both of their last fights. IKD. Seems a bit fishy to me.
