Exactly. For the first 3 rounds Floyd was trying to set up the straight right with his jab, which wasn't really working at all. Judah had Floyd's jab timed pretty well and was countering off of it.

Floyd adjusted and started leading with the straight right and followed it with a lefthook (also after some very nice body work by Floyd), which Judah had absolutely no answer for.

People tend to think that it was Judah running out of steam, rather than the brilliant adjustment that Floyd made during this fight.
a jab, cross, hook over/under does not work against a southpaw. it is countered by a right jab over the top and a right hook while pivoting left. i'm sure most of the young boxer's could tell you that. i was just rehasing on the fact that mayweather's offense was somewhat predictable against a limited opponent.

he adjusted to a style that was unorthodox and a fighter who was probably quicker and more powerful than he was....

something wasn't working, and he changed things around to make something else work...

people act like Judah won the fight sometimes because he won 3 rounds....

Floyd saw he had to walk Judah down with lead right hands and force Judah to retreat to his (Judah's) right...nice body work by Floyd too

there are a million "if he fought this way...." scenarios fans can make for thousands of fight in history...but at the end of the day it is what it is...
in my opinion judah won a minimum of 4 rounds, and it CAN be argued thast he won 5 rounds with mayweather giving away the 12th and the 11th wasn't exactly the most convincing.

i do agree with the last point. however, there are always mistakes made by fighters that are not always taken advantage of. agreed? i also feel mentality has a lot to do with how a fighter progresses. i do not think judah has a great mentality or a feel for the sport like say calzaghe does. agreed?
