Hatton vs. Mayweather threads are the worst threads on this site. Why?

You always get the same ****, with ZERO adult discussion:


1. "Floyd will do another Gatti on Hatton." I must have heard this a THOUSAND ****ing times. NO HE WON'T. He might BEAT him, but he won't "do a Gatti". If you think that then you're a moron, frankly. But the worst thing about that **** is it gets OLD.

2. "Floyd is P4P No.1 and Hatton isn't, so Floyd wins." When are you dummies gonna get it through to your thick ****ing heads that P4P is BULL****? It's just a made up theoretical extrapolation by journalists, it don't mean **** in and of itself. Look at Joe Blow, he's the tenth greatest fighter in the world according to The Ring. How come he wasn't at the start of the year? Has he got better or did the journalists that work on the magazine not know ****? It's just BOLLOCKS.

3. "Floyd will pwn his azz, LMAO, he'll box him, owned! " FFS, **** off to kindergarten.

4. "Hatton FEARS Floyd". Grow up and come back to the site when you have.

Isn't it possible to have an ADULT discussion about this???




As for the question, I'm not sure. I think it will be a LOT more competitive than people say, though...

140 pounds or 147 pounds floyd beat hatton easy. Geo is an idiot. He's too much of a hatton nuthugger. Beating a 40 year old has been philips and beating tackle don't mean crap. Both of those guys are not even close to floys skill. And kostya was a great fighter but he diesn't have the defensive skills that floyd brings.

Mayweather would beat Hatton at 140. Floyd still is very quick at that weight. He probably is still quick at 147 but he hasn't shown it in his 2 fights at 147.

The thing is, you have to understand, I must have read at least THIRTY of these Hatton vs. Mayweather threads. And every time I hope for some intelligent discussion. (Granted, yours was fine). I'm not expecting everyone on here to be experts, but just saying "Mayweather will pwn Hatton, Hatton FEARS him" is not worth my while reading. And I SHOULD be able to get something worth reading from a boxing forum, shouldn't I?

ive said from day one on this site that hatton will beat mayweather.
yah mayweather is arguable the "best p4p fighter" on the earth but every dog (including a underdog) has hes day , i wasnt around here when hatton faced kostya tszyu but judging on how journilists and experts vented there views on the fight hatton had little to zero chance of winning , billy graham came up with the perfect plan to nuetralise the right hand and the rest is history.
now onto this so cold another gatti showcase , gatti has always been a brawler who comes to fight it wasnt until he started to be trained by buddy mgcirt that he started to box but has the saying goes you cant teach old dogs new tricks , gatti stood off mayweather all night long and floyd pot shotted him into oblivion. how the **** is this going to be another gatti warfare , hatton was an elite international amatuer boxer , wev only seem glimses of hes boxing in hes profesional tenure in the sport but the chance people give him is ridiculous. rickys got all the qualitys needed to beat mayweather e.g jab , good footwork , cuts the ring off and most of all a brilliant reportoire of punches and will back mayweather onto the ropes and it only needs one good body shot and floyds gonna go down gasping for air.
ricky will know that if it goes to the cards hes gonna loose via a close ud or a sp thats why its vital he tkos or kos him

Hatton's going down as one of the real greats, with wins over Phillips, Tszyu, Castillo and Mayweather. And already the best body-puncher of his generation and most exciting fighter since Nigel Benn.
