      Wasn't Gerry a victim of robbery twice in Japan. Miron_lang is right...if he wants to fight the Japanese title holder...he has to do it in the U.S. or somewhere else.

              Gerry did retire for almost two years after losing his title to Masamori Tokuyama back in 2002. He was inspired by Pacquiao's success and came out of retirement in 2004.
