It is universally known that the birthplace of civilization is the African Continent. Secondly, as stated in my previous post, dark is dominate, light is recessive. You can get recessive from the dominate but not the dominate from the recessive. Therefore, it is genetically impossible for blacks to evolve from whites or asians. It's simple genetics.

It is not universally known, it is widely accepted theory. The theory is called Migratory Theory, and has many holes in it, like many other theories such as evolution.
As for simple genetics, as genetics has become more advanced closer links have been found between Asians, Indonesians more specifically, and living hominids on the Asian continent than to living hominids on the African continent, raising the possibility of seperate evolutioary paths for at least Mongoloids and Negroids.
Again with simple genetics and evolutonary theory, if mankind started in North Africa, as the fossil record would indicate, it is just as likely that the sub-saharan Negroid race evolved the darker pigmentation in reaction to the harsher climatic conditions as it is that Europeans lost pigmentation due to a more moderate climate. The earliest known fossils of early man have been found in North Africa, in the Chadian desserts. North Africa has been largely Caucasoid in population throughout known history, while Sub-Saharan Africa is largely Negroid.
If you base migration off the earliest known fossils, then it would appear than man started out Caucasoid and evolved pigmentation and body structure to suit the climates into which he migrated. This still makes Africa the birthplace of mankind, but casts doubt on whether or not we were all once black. Of couse this is pure theory, not fact.

The only universally known fact regarding the origin and evolution of man is that we know far less than we don't know.

The Census is not science. Scientifically Hispanics are Caucasoid. The census divides them off for cultural, not scientific, reasons.

If I recall correctly, US Census a while back considered Hispanics as Caucasians until the Hispanics got enough lawyers to change that so they could get minority status in the US. But this was long ago, maybe back in the 70s.

Yup, that's pretty much it. What will be intersting to see is how willing they are to give up "minority" status when they become the largest population block in the next couple of decades. Maybe before then they will figure out that when God said "Go forth and multiply" it was the math geek in him talking, he didn't mean have a bunch of kids. Damned Catholic Chuch misinterpretted it.

What's ironic is, caucasians are the minority on this planet. There are far more Asians than any other race. But Asian race is so broad and varied, there are Indians, North East Asians and South East Asians and even the Middle East is part of the Asian Continent.

Socio-political differences have kept Russians out of the Asian race, though.

Genetically, Indians and Middle Easterners are largley Caucasoid, not Mongoloid. The Indian subcontinent, though part of Asia, is made up primarily of Caucasoid and Caucasoid/Austaliod mixes.
