    James Toney undeserving HW

Whether you think he beat James Toney or got a gift, it is absurd for the reprehensible WBC to order an immediate rematch simply because it was a close fight. No rules were broken. There was no injury. There were no wacky circumstances. Just two judges who saw it for Peter and one for Toney. The WBC should be ashamed of itself, but that is impossible because it has no shame. The miscarriage of justice here is that Peter has been wrongfully denied a title shot he earned by beating Toney in an official eliminator.
Comments by Dan Rafael about Samuel Peter

I can't agree more, this is the most ridiculous thing ever. Toney gets the most title shots than Any current HW. He fought for 2 major titles in his last four fights. He fought Ruiz for the WBA and Rahman for the WBC. He gets an eliminator fight with Sam Peter and loses now he gets another shot to be the #1 contender for a major HW title. Does anyone else thinks this is a disgrace to boxing? It seems like they want to force Toney to be a champ.

They do want to force him to be champion. I think the second time around Peter will be better.

The fked up thing is that this time around the judges might be hand picked in favor of Toney meaning Peter will have to knock Toney out.

I like Toney, but that article does have a point. I do actually think he beat Peter, quite widely as well (116-111 on my card), but the judges' decisions are final, so...

I'm pretty sure that WBC found something out about those two judges and ordered a rematch to keep it quite.

Only reason there shouldn't be a rematch is simply because Peter looked so bad and clearly didn't deserve the win. Toney is a great fighter and Peter looked like a sloppy slow ass bum against him period.

Umm where were all of you when the WBC ordered Corrales to rematch Castillo and Taylor to face Wright after 2 bouts against Hopkins? I didn't hear any bitching and moaning then. I'm mad about all 3 cases, but at least they force good fights, even if it is the wrong way to do it.
