Once again the so called experts on here have Joe's card marked without stopping to look at the basic facts of boxing!

This is the real world where fighters like Biko cause trouble for anyone, why, because he is strong, quick, physical and most importantly wanting a title so badly he will fight his heart out without the added pressure of the expectations of the crowd (because they expected him to lose), he had nothing to lose in the fight!

If you have an opinion on Joe fine but back it up with a basic fundamental understanding of this sport, styles make fights and this was a scrappy yet entertaining fight.

Its not as if we are talking about a S/D here Joe won very comfortably on the cards although it was a hard nights work in the ring.

At the end of the day he defended his titles, if you think he is overrated then your a fool, if you think that he is a great fighter but human then your right unfortunately this is real world where a boxing master class like the Lacy fight comes along now and again.

You talk about Hopkins who is a great fighter but I have watched many of his fights where I have thought what's all the fuss about (in fact I fell asleep during a few incl the Taylor fights) however I am not naive enough to doubt his talent and ability as I understand the sport!

ive seen lots of Calz fights...and to be honest a lot of em were scrappy when he gets ****** in to wars..this was a typical blood and guts calzone fight....
he said it wasnt his toughest..but i reckon it was..he still had plenty in the tank.

which rounds do you think bika won? i certainly cant think of any! the times calzaghe was hurt all came from blantant use of bikas head.

i must say that calzaghe didn't seem on top form, stylistically bika was bad for calzaghe as he didn't move in close and when he did move in his head was always the first to hit! seriously he made holyfeild seem like a clean fighter!

I can remember one round (I think it was the 9th) where Biko definitely dominated but other than that the others must have been shared, there was a certain 7 point gap.
Your right about the head though, Bika should wear a third glove on it when he boxes in future as its definitely part of his armory!

Hopkins said he was hurt by a body shot from Roy that took him several rounds to recover fully from.
