calzahe demolishes the roy jones of now. a shutout wouldnt be out of the question in my eyes.

but i couldnt see him beating the old roy jones. more like a great performance for RJJ, but no knockout for RJJ either

as good as calzaghe is roy is a dangerous fight . calzaghe is too reckless coming foward to fight even an old roy jones, and if he tries to box roy he will get pot shotted to death, roy is still faster

I disagree with that. While it's not wildly impossible that an old Roy could stop Calzaghe, the likelihood is that he would be seriously hurt. I think his last fight told us all we need to know about Roy's punch resistance/remaining speed, punch power, etc. He's far from the man he was.

Calzaghe would outwork Roy now and is better at infighting, just look at the first round of Roy against badi Ajamu.

i like calzaghe better then roy , i would love to see this fight instead of hopkins...i dont think calzaghe has the style to fight heavy weights becuase he would be a short southpaw..

Present RJJ has no chance against Present Calzaghe.. 5 years ago Its would be a pick' em... but I would lean towards JC ...

My fave RJJ quote " I dont mind being hit, Just dont hit me TOO hard"

Calzaghe said recently that he would get "no joy" out of fighting Roy as he respects him but knows he has nothing left.

Calzghe would destroy the RJJ of today and would have given the Roy of old a good fight but probably lost by UD........**** Dino why do you make ****** threads like this to piss people off......Nobody in there right mind could really believe RJJ could beat Calzaghe right now.
