whoever thought taylor beat winky is nuts..i dont like either fighter that much but i like to watch both and winky was robbed in that fight, and he still is really only a jr middleweight and is probably the real p4p champion. this should be a great fight with quartey becuase he claims wright stole his style but we.ll see who better at it i guess.

LMAO!!! Nothing like listening to a loser whine. Winky was fortunate to get a gift draw. Taylor was the clear winner. This fight might be entertaining but it is next to meaningless.
Obviosly this man hasn't even seen the fight! nothing like a loser wine!! More like an individual who doesn't know the first thing about boxing. dude the fight was highly disputed yet you seem to think you know it was black and white. i'm sorry but your a fool, think about what you write brfore you decide to say anything bro. you just come accross looking like an ass. most peole have come to the conluscion that there are two different ways to judge a fight 1) based of off of clean contact or 2) the way the winky fight was judged just keep throwing powers shots, if you move him around(even though he is blocking them) with you punches your winning. Know your **** before you open your mouth! watch the fight!!!

Right after the fight Winky declined comment to the press and said there wasnt going to be a rematch.
Later on he warmed up to the idea, and then began calling Taylor out.
Taylor said sure, lets fight in December, and Winky backed out.
No Dibella wanted to push the date to Jan.......Due to 4 weeks straight or some **** of PPV in Nov/Dec........Wink said no he fights in Dec period. They will get it on should they both win their upcoming fights in the spring....I am quite sure....It MUST happen.

I dont get how people think that was controversial.
Because neither man did **** in the first 7 rounds....many could have gone either way depending on the way you judge.......And Hopkins cleaned his clock the last 4 rounds and would have stopped him had there been a 13 rd....

I don't know if Winky is the 'uncrowned' champion. I scored it for Taylor by one round but Winky is definetly the best p4p fighter in the sport. He has consistently been fighting the best opponents who were willing to fight him(no matter how obscure they were).

I still think Jermaine beat Winky, but a draw was a good call.

They should rematch at some point.

But HBO always makes sure their prospects and money makers win their matches if it goes to the cards.
I just don't agree with this at all. If HBO wanted to make sure they made a **** ton of money, then Oscar De La Hoya would be like 57-0 right now because HBO would have made so much money off of him.

Um, R.Winky Wright, I did see the fight.

Regardless of who you thought won, one thing is undisputable. When the fight was over Winky acted like a whiney little *****. kind of like you. Now he is whining about being the uncrowned champ. pathetic and classless. Just like you. Congratulations.

He might be the "uncrowned champion", but Taylor is the middleweight KING. He should've gone for the rematch right away, not many champs like Taylor would have offered him an immediate rematch after such a close fight...

Now he has to worry about Ike before he gets another shot at the title…..

I thought Winky won even though it was very close.I hope they fight again next year sometime.Taylor may win the rematch, just a thought I had.
