        No, the fact that Phillipino's are not really into boxing, they're now into it cause of Pacquiao..

            au contraire. filipinos have loved boxing. manny pacquiao is the first pinoy in recent years that has been on major pay per views that you see in the states thats why you come up with that conclusion. boxing has been one of our favorite sports in the philippines. basketball billiards and boxing in that order

                partly true.

                the Philippines have fighters like Luisito Espinosa, Gerry Penalosa, Dodie Boy, etc. before Pac, but Pacquiao had caused such huge wave of boxing enthusiasm.

                Mexico does have great boxing history because the country produces more talented fighters than the Philippines.
