maybe the fact that las vegas is near mexico rather than the philippines would have something to do with that.
Did Pacquiao make Juan Manuel Marquez Famous?

No, the fact that Phillipino's are not really into boxing, they're now into it cause of Pacquiao..
Mexicans on the other hand have been loving boxing since decades..Comment

what are you talking about? How many Mexicans are in C.A? I don't see people yelling Mexico in Atlantic City.Comment

au contraire. filipinos have loved boxing. manny pacquiao is the first pinoy in recent years that has been on major pay per views that you see in the states thats why you come up with that conclusion. boxing has been one of our favorite sports in the philippines. basketball billiards and boxing in that orderComment

Hmm maybe cause you dont watch boxing?
Thats not my point dumbass, my point is that Mexicans love boxing for along time, im not saying whos rooting or whos not, wtf you talking about..Comment

partly true.
the Philippines have fighters like Luisito Espinosa, Gerry Penalosa, Dodie Boy, etc. before Pac, but Pacquiao had caused such huge wave of boxing enthusiasm.
Mexico does have great boxing history because the country produces more talented fighters than the Philippines.
