wlad if he doesnt show up intimidated would put this thing in his place.
vitali too would do it,he gave lewis trouble and lewis would of had fun with someone as primitive as valuev.
peters would forget the little he knows of boxing skills and go ballistic right off the bat and maybe get lucky if the fights not too long.
i think that hybrid wintersquash head of valuev can be cracked by multible blows after taking a body pounding .
From last night's performance I can't see how Valuev would keep Peter off him, and I also doubt he could take Peter's punches for long.

It's a sad indictment when you realise that Sam Peter could beat someone at boxing.

I actually think that Peter's chances there are not that good.
Just imagine Valuev leaning on Peter every time they exchange, Peter, especially with his habit of comin out in a worse shape in every consecutive fight, will get quickly discouraged and tired out.

You make a good point. Last night's was competitive at first - I had it 3 apiece - but after that Monte was worn down from the seventh on.

I think out of a bunch, Brewster will give him lots of problems with his ability to duck under jab(even though his head movement sucks) and a great left hook.
Valuev is vulnerable to that punch.
But it all really comes down, will these guys be able to stay away from getting worn out.
Most strongest from a bunch is definately Wlad though.

I really see Valuev as fairly beatable by any top 10 guy. So far he's only faced one top ten guy in Jenny Louise and we all know how that turned out.

              I defo agree.
In my view, if you got the necessary tools to beat Valuev, you will beat him.
IMO, he is perfect exampleof styles make figts thing.
If a fighter has a certain style and physical attributes, Valuev is ****ed.

Yeah, I mean the guy has no real advantage in speed, power, technique... he's just very average but has the extreme height. Any boxer of comparable height with power could take him out. As far as I was concerned Jenny retained his title 115-113.

Not just height, but physical strength and size, these are his main attributes.
He got a good power, but not a KO artist, its his physical strength that is scary.
BTW, I think that Wlad, when they fought, beat Barret more convincingly, I think he took like every round.

I give Barrett lots of respect for the way he kept coming up like he did. That could not have been easy, with hte pounding he was taking.

Yeah, I was surprised by how many clean shots Barrett was landing last night. Wlad is far better technically, but that goes without saying.

Off topic slightly, but who would you say are the three most technically skilled h/ws active today?

I'd say Wlad, Toney, and........ Audley Harrison. Laugh, but in terms of technique, he's really not that bad. It's just the ****ting his pants and having a suspect chin parts that let him down...
