i watched it today again and i had it even going into the ninth, and i thought he was winning the begginging of the ninth, and had he kept boxing, would have won the fight. he was out-hustling baldomir when he was boxing him, by feinting and making baldomir miss and getting in some counters and hooks, still baldomir landed the more effective punches, but because of the size difference, and gatti couldnt keep boxing because hes a warrior and he wanted to please the croud, and thats just what he did. but with too big of and opponent.

i don't think gatti has much of a future at 147. Going back to 140 isn't the perfect answer but it's better than facing some slugger like Paul Williams, that would be a slaughter.
