His win in May put him in order to be his madatory and ranked #1 by the wbo..SHANE was actually the mandatory and ranked #1 wbo..he fought Vargas at 154then Williams became the #1 by wbo and Mandatory but had a bout scheduled with Mitchell...If Marg declined to fight Williams then he would have been stripped..he has not been. He is negotiations with Mosley for after the Clottey fight..if the WBO allows it..if not he is suppose to fight Williams..

Don't you think it make sense if margarito fight williams in dec? cause if he beats williams then he don't have to worry about fighting a mandatory and he could finally look for big fights like a mosley but nooooooooo he took a cheap way out by fighting the number 5 contender in clottey ( that prove right there that margarito is a coward to fight williams). The wbo will not allow margarito to fight anybody but williams if he beat clottey. Margarito must fight williams next after clottey if not then margarito will be stripped of his title.

Nope it won't put shane back as number 1 cause williams already got it. Shane fought vargas twice so it's too late for mosley to go back down to 147 and become the number 1 contender. Shane might be the number 2 or 3 contender to the wbo title but he won't be the number 1 contender that's for sure.
