It would be difficult to tell really if he retired after the Bika fight. It wouldn't happen that way though because he still has soem fights in him. He will be a hall of famer by the time he retires.

Look at how many title defenses.

      Of course.

Regardless, just look at the amount of defenses, and how much he's capable of.

Roy Jones is regarded as a future all-time P4P right.. for doing what?

Exactly the same argument, numbers speak for themselves.

            no not yet.

1.) Fight the winner of Beyer-Kessler. If Calzaghe wins that fight, he would beaten all the top fighters in this division.

He's not retiring after his next fight.

Has he done enough? Well, I guess it depends if beating the best in your division over the last 10 years is enough.

Roy Jones beat Hopkins and Toney, both great fighters. Calzaghe never beaten any great fighter.

There are less distinguished fighters than Calzaghe already in there so I'd say it's a certainty that he'll get in.

And Hopkins beat Johnson, who beat Tarver, both beat Jones.

Jones has never beaten 'The Man' in a division.

He beat Thomas Tate (who?) for the Middleweight title.

Shortly moving up to SMW to beat James Toney, the man who regarded himself as 'the man' in the division, but in reality, he himself was unproven.

He stayed there for a couple of years, beat mediocre competition (not necessarily his fault).

He then moved up to the only division he can truly say he was the man at (arguably, nobody's forgetting Dariusz Michalczewski) but funnily enough, only as Tiozzo was moving up to Cruiser, coincidence? possibly. Lost by DQ to Montell Griffin, beat upon more mediocre competition, moved up to beat the weakest heavyweight champion. (Why not Lennox, Roy?)

That's where his story ends, he lost twice to Tarver, only twice on the scorecards, and got KO'd by Glen Johnson, both of whom were embarressed by Hopkins, which to me, taints the latter of Jones' career.
