At 42:1 odds, what the hell was Tyson's cornerman whispering to him in his ear between rounds after giving him instructions out loud in front of the camera. Tyson's cornerman would give him instructions and then lean over and whisper something in his ear!

I think the Tyson vs. Douglas match was a little fishy! Buster looked awesome! Too awesome, and Tyson looked like he wasn't even trying!

Yeah, Tyson accidenty hit him with an uppercut, and lucky for them with the ODDS, that Buster got back up to fight..(or, I mean spar on).

King made up a big hissy fit after the fight to take everyones attention off of what just happened and cried LONG COUNT!

To me, I think they all went over there to take the japanese money and Tyson and Douglas sparred for weeks and months before to get it somewhat close! (just my opinion)

It's not that hard to spar in front of a crowd, and that explains why one guy looked dominate and the other looked like he never tried. Tyson just walked in ate punches all night.

Whats a puffy eye and and a loss with them kinda odds? Besides, everyone was getting sick of seeing Tyson knock out stiffs at that point and was ready for somethin new to happen in the heavyweight division!

Oh, and Tyson wallering around on the floor with his mouth piece??? Come on, the japanese ate that stuff up and everyone knows it!

Just my opinion and thoughts that went through my head when I witnessed the fight when it came on tv live!

Go back and watch the fight with this in mind, you'll see!
there are so many idiots on here!!!

I've heard this before. It has crosse the minds of a lot of people that the fight must have been fixed. But who gained? Tyson? who is in Debt past his head, millions over his head? Or Douglas who caughed up his tittle so quickly? Don King was gonna get a Mnt. of cash anyway so why have his crown ***l take a dive?
For a rematch? There wasn't even a rematch claus in the contract of Douglas would have had to Fight Tyson again before his firs title defense. Especially with Don King at the wheel.
I maintain Douglas had a rare spark of will in his ass that day. He had somthing to prove. The man had the loss of his mohter to deal with and it isn't hard to believe that carried over to the fight. He had his finest hour. And Tyson, showed up believing he was invincible. this fight was already won in his eyes Im sure. His problems outside the ring may have had some affect. But the problems with his will and determination I say are the culprit. Somthing from then on just seemed wrong with Tyson's head. Was it somthing that had always been there that Demato, Roony and co. was able to cover? Don't know but I don't believe he took a dive. I may be wrong but I don't think the pay off would have been able to out weigh the downside of the bargain.
