Exactly man. All the little kids that are whining about Barrera's style this fight are crybabies. Barrera is a winner and he knows how to win. It looked ugly, but he got the decision. Not every fighter can win and look pleasing with a fight of the year every time out.
Does everyone here forget that Barrera has given us COUNTLESS great fights.
Sorry dude.
PAC does.
That's why PAC is p4p number 1. He makes elites like MAB look like target practice.
I know it was a smart fight he fought... but my point is that he should've brawled and gave his fans/people a hell of a fight for the fact that it was Mexico's Independence Day, everyone was expecting a brawl but he didnt do it... thats why im pissed...
what does the fact that it was mexican independence day have to do with how a man fights a fight? I guess that winning isn't good enough to mexican people around the world on this particular day? How absurd is that!!!!

wait for his answer to your question, bro. i can't wait how he would explain himself LOL.
my point as well, barrera was not trying to break his opponent down he was just running and jabbing no lead rightsw no uppercuts just a jab, you can't win a fight on just a jab.
did you watch the same figtht as me??? yeah barrera did jab mostly and was circling but he was also using his uppercut and was throwing lead right hands when he saw an opening, barrera looked VERY focused on the job at hand and in the first 2 rounds and let juarez know that he was fightin a different fighter, although barrera didnt fight the brawl alot of you people wanted, juarez is the one to blame, he was the one that said he was gonna apply pressure, he was gonna change his tactics, throw punches, combinations, etc....and he did NOTHING!!! he tried to fight on the inside but barrera clinched him up and he didnt have an answer for it, barrera adapted, juarez didnt and has shown he is just one dimensional.
now i think barrera vs pacman will go ahead....even if pacquiao were to lose against morales in november

Juarez himself said in an interview that it was an uppercut that inflicted the damage to his eye, although, (it must be added) he also complained that Barrera just kept running.

even though barrera "ran" or in other words did not want to engage in a brawl with juarez, its not barreras fault that juarez couldnt adapt, even when barrera lost to pacman, after he got knocked down in the 3rd round by pacquiao, barrera was not tryin to brawl with pacman and he was on the back foot all the time after he got knocked down in the 3rd round, but you know what, pacman didnt have it, he didnt just wait on the outside, he made barrera fight even at times when he didnt want too and was landin on barrera on the outside and the inside, my point is pacman adapted and took barrera out of his rythm, but juarez did not, is barrera really to blame for this??? i dont think so, juarez did not do what he said he was gonna do.

True. Agree on all points.
I cited Juarez's statement about what inflicted the damage on the eye to corroborate your earlier post that Barrera did, indeed, use punches other than a jab.
I just felt it fair to add Juarez's claim of MAB running in as much as both statements were made in the very same interview.
